Collaboration is often talked about but not easy to achieve, and it doesn't always make the top of the priority list.
By harnessing the true power and wisdom of the collective, will we overcome the artificial barriers which hold us all back. We need to build purposeful partnerships, understanding that we will never truly integrate if we actually set out to dominate.
Disunity makes us all uncomfortable, as well as making it easy to ignore us in policy development. However, our desire for unity is not absolute.
For our leaders to be able to work better together via their organisations, they must be able to relate to each other as individuals. That is difficult when they go into meetings as representatives of specific organisations.
